Monica’s approach to law is deeply rooted in the foundation set by her immigrant parents who came to this country with hopes and dreams that have materialized through their integrity, hard work, and dedication to their family. Monica grew up in Southern California, where she currently resides and practices law. She obtained her Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice from California State University, Fullerton and her law degree from Southwestern University School of Law. 

While in college and law school, Monica looked for every opportunity to volunteer her time to the underrepresented communities, whether it was at the Community Legal Clinic during college or with the Volunteer Income Tax Prepare Program, La Raza for outreaching to the homeless and recent parolees, and immigration and family law based non-profit organization. She continues to provide free seminars to local community-based groups and volunteers her time to the Inland Empire Latino Lawyers Association. Most recently she has served as a Daily Settlement Officer to assist non-represented parties reach settlement and in appointed as Minor’s Counsel in high conflict family law cases. 

When you meet Monica, you can expect someone who attentively listens, analyzes issues, and provides solutions that are centered around solving problems in a timely manner.
